We were invited to Elgin Sheet Metal late last week to test our claims of a 3,000 pound load capacity on the Centipede™ Support XL with a pallet of sand bags they had on hand. Though some of the sand had been used, the total load weighed between 2,400 and 2,600 pounds. While this may not be a realistic application, we hope it helps to illustrate the robust nature of the Centipede™ Portable Work System.
