Habitat for Humanity® of McHenry County has been working on a house in Harvard, IL that was built in the 1960s. Hoping to wrap it up in the next few months, this house was completely gutted and now has a new roof. We recently stopped by during a lunch break to meet the group of volunteers, primarily consisting of folks from military families – including 4 retired Marines – as they put in yet another day of building one family’s dream home.
Construction manager Bill Lee anticipated they’d be able to use the Centipede™ Sawhorses we donated to set up trim stations for painting and cutting. We’re just happy to play a small part in such an amazing act of generosity from these volunteers!
Here’s a few photos from the site. They were sure to show us their current sawhorses, and I expect they’ll work just fine in concert with their new Centipede Sawhorse compatriots!
